EMA Grant from the McHenry County Community Foundation provides the financial backing to support two important outreach programs.
Robin Restrepo,
EMA early childhood faculty member, will be teaching music to
sixty-four children in Crystal Lake's Head Start Preschool program
housed at Bethany Lutheran Church. Both organizations are extremely
excited about the partnership and for the children who will have the
opportunity to work with Miss Robin.
Steve Szalaj, EMA voice faculty member, will be leading a new choir/music class "Joyful Noise" in partnership with NISRA, Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association. Joyful Noise is named after an inspirational choir in New Jersey
